"People with disabilities are some of the hardest working, most resourceful people I know. It is so very exciting and rewarding to be part of a network of professionals who bring people the choice to live and work in the community and to be in control of their own lives. The Michigan Centers for Independent Living are now partnering with other agencies to identify and transition individuals with disabilities from nursing facilities to community-based living, and this process has been long-awaited."

Superior Alliance for Independent Living
At Superior Alliance for Independent Living (A member of the Disability Network), it's in our power to change everything, from individual lives to the wider community.
Every year, we help over 1,000 people with disabilities and their families lead more productive lives in the Upper Peninsula. But our efforts don't just benefit them. They help everyone, with or without disabilities, who lives in, works in, or passes through our community.
